Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a General Medicine position in a Boston adult medical unit, requiring an active MA RN license and BLS certification.

• Work in a 36-bed adult medical hospital unit caring for acutely ill medical patients
• Rotating day/night shifts with 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Epic EMR and requires experience with Epic charting
• Patient population includes a diverse array of medical diagnoses requiring complex nursing care
• Public transportation and paid parking options available nearby; no validated parking provided
• All holiday rotations are mandatory as scheduled
• Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from the hospital

• Active and unencumbered MA RN license required at time of consideration—MA conditional licenses not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Experience in acute care hospital medical units
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
