Travel RN - Leadership - Supervisor

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor with leadership experience and an active MA RN license for a rotating 12-hour shift position.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital setting supervising multiple nursing units and departments,

• 12-hour rotating day and night shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage required,

• Position covers evening, night, and weekend shifts,

• Patient population ranges from infancy to geriatrics,

• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, timely patient care,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum of 5 years of staff RN experience including charge nurse responsibilities in an acute care setting,

• Demonstrated leadership experience in nursing,

• Level 1 trauma hospital experience required,

• Nursing degree required (diploma, ASN, or BSN preferred),

• Must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B,

• Two professional references required, with one at the manager level and a recent performance evaluation,

• Responsible for coordinating and supervising patient care on multiple units during assigned shifts,

• Acts as the on-site hospital representative accountable for operational and administrative activities,

• Evaluates and provides clinical direction to nursing staff,

• Makes staffing decisions to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient patient care,

• Member of the Nursing Leadership Team and involved in divisional planning and goal achievement,
