Join our team at Brighton Post Acute as Director of Nursing
Full-time opportunity available. Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM. $120k-$150k per year.
Responsibilities of Director of Nursing- Develop and implement the written staffing plan that reflects the needs of the department.
- Perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical team.
- Work in partnership with the Administrator to ensure quality, person-centered care.
- Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures by current rules and regulations.
- Must possess valid unencumbered, RN State License.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center, or another related healthcare setting.
- Must have experience in supervision and principles, the practice of teaching, etc.
- Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
- Must have prior Director of Nursing experience working in a nursing home in Massachusetts.
