We are looking for a commercially focused, curious, strategic, and driven Brand Manager to guide the future of Star Wars  this role, you will be equal parts business manager, brand strategist, and product strategist.

You will oversee global product development for the Star Wars Fan business while partnering with the global commercial teams to drive go-to-market planning, in-year line plan optimization, and profitable, sustainable growth. Our ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic and an appreciation for the joy these toys bring to fans around the world.

In this critical role, you will partner with cross-functional teams (design & development, packaging, engineering, demand planning, finance) on all phases of product development, business and line planning. You will need to be a strategic, high-energy, collaborative thought leader with an ambitious spirit and curious mind. Creativity, ingenuity, and financial acuity will help you build foundational insights on how to grow the business.

We are looking for someone to bring insights on what’s new and cool for our consumer and translate those opportunities into new products and experiences for fans.

Successful candidates have a deep appreciation for fandom, pop culture, and storytelling. They are proactive, energetic, collaborative, flexible, creative, analytical, strategic, and decisive — equally comfortable driving big-picture strategy and managing the details required to bring licensed products to market. They also prioritize relationships and the importance of teamwork.

Effective from the date Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI.

A Day in the Life as a Brand Manager
  • Drive brand and product strategy for the Star Wars portfolio, supporting market share growth and long-term franchise health.
  • Manage global product development and marketing processes, including line planning, portfolio optimization, and lifecycle management across multiple fan segments.
  • Partner with global commercial teams to support placement with key retailers and ensure the Star Wars product line delivers category leadership worldwide.
  • Collaborate closely with Disney/Lucasfilm on content strategy, product approvals, and creative alignment.
  • Stay on the pulse of fan behavior, media trends, and emerging play patterns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams — including regional marketing, consumer marketing, design & development, packaging, engineering, sales, demand planning, finance, and costing — to bring Star Wars products and experiences to market.
  • Translate consumer research, fan insights, market trends, and competitive analysis into clear, insight-driven strategies for internal teams and retail partners.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing Managers and licensing partners on global briefs, brand positioning, and consumer-led marketing activation across digital, retail, and experiential channels.
  • Own point-of-sale (POS) performance narratives with a clear understanding of portfolio drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support go-to-market planning, asset development, and messaging by providing product details, franchise context, and unique selling propositions.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify growth opportunities, inform pricing strategies, and balance revenue and margin goals in partnership with sales and finance.
