CNC Programmer
Overview
We are seeking a CNC Programmer to support machining operations in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. This role focuses on developing and optimizing CNC programs while working closely with machinists and engineering teams to ensure efficient, accurate production of aerospace components.
- Develop and maintain CNC programs for machining operations using NX or similar CAM software.
- Support machining activities by optimizing programs, tooling, and cycle times.
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and GD&T requirements to create accurate machining programs.
- Collaborate with machinists and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and improve processes.
- Assist in validating and proving out programs on CNC equipment.
- Experience programming CNC equipment in an aerospace or precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with NX CAM software.
- Experience programming CNC lathes strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and aerospace materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
