Industrial Maintenance Technician

This is a Direct Hire opportunity with the Client

Seeking someone with experience working with:

Large Conveyors - replacing/lacing belts - 24" plus

480V 3-phase motors

Equipment like Conveyors/Balers/Shredders/Compactors/Sorters

Use to working in a dirty/industrial setting

to join a leading Company located in the Boston, MA/Charlestown, MA and the surrounding area.

Mon - Fri

2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 10:30pm

3rd Shift: 10pm – 6am

Overtime is available

You’ll keep the plant’s heavy production equipment—conveyors, balers, shredders, compactors, sorters—running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Work Environment:
Primarily inside the Charlestown plant; dirty/industrial setting; some shop work.

Equipment:
Conveyors, shredders, balers, compactors, sorters—no rolling stock.

• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic production machinery.
• Perform PM's and installations to prevent downtime.
• Work independently or with a team to keep production on schedule.
• Use maintenance software to document work orders.

• Minimum 5 years of industrial/mechanical maintenance experience in production environments.
• Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with large conveyors (24"+) and replacing/lacing belts.
• Knowledge of 480V 3-phase motors.
• Experience with telehandlers, forklifts, and loaders.
• Own basic tools (socket sets, wrenches, cordless drill, grinder, multimeter).
