A Materials Handler Supervisor manages the inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and materials within a hospital or medical facility. The Materials Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring that the hospital or medical facility has the necessary supplies and equipment to provide high-quality care to patients. The team members in this role are extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

- Be skilled in unloading and loading material within a hospital setting
- Ability to operate a fork and lift pallet Jack
- Perform visual inspections to ensure that materials meet the standard per the PO
- Use a computer-based tracking system
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety acumen
- Possess and use profound mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail:
By paying close attention to the inventory levels, ensuring that supplies are tracked and recorded, and completing tasks accurately, a materials handler can set an example of how important attention to detail is. - Collaborating with others: A materials handler can show leadership skills by working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the necessary supplies and equipment are available.

- Be able to continuously move/walk throughout the hospital for multiple hours
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time, stooping and bending at the waist
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to operate a phone
- Basic computer skills
Be at least 18 years of age - Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Complete the occupational health process per the hospital's standards.
