This position will cover all activities related from receiving, warehousing, cycle count, issuance, shipping, Customs/trade compliance and physical distribution of material.
Key ResponsibilitiesDirect activities related to material receiving, storing, cycle counting, issuing, dispatching, routing, tracking transportation and delivery in timely and error-free manner in accordance to approved procedure.
Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
Ensure high degree of inventory integrity and accuracy.
Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer(internal and external) or shipper complaints and establish preventive measure.
Obtain Customs and relevant authorities approval for the importation and exportation of goods and utilize any applicable free trade agreement.
Manage the performance of logistics service provider.
Control and Monitor Freight Costs and service level.
Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Generate accurate and timely measurable, report and metrics as required by management and authorities e.g. Customs.
Consistently look for continue improvement for the accuracy and productivity of the process.
Ensure employees are trained and certified in carry out the duty and training is documented.
Ensures all the activities comply with ethical standards and the internal Quality Management System.
Job RequirementsCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
Required skill(s):
People management and supervisory skill, SAP WMS/IMS, problem solving, Kaizen and process improvement, inventory management, end-to-end warehouse operations management, quality management.
Preferably in Distribution or Warehouse/Logistics operation with at least 5 years of experience required.
Able to support shift work if business need require.
Skills RequiredKnowledge of Warehouse and Distribution processes and systems.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Problem solving.
Adaptable and flexible in the workplace.
Soft skills such as Microsoft Office, SAP, etc
