Role

Summary

The Commercial Enablement Transformation Project Manager / Agile Lead Release Train Engineer will drive prioritized Deal Management initiatives and projects across Asset Servicing and Commercial Controls. This role will lead Agile teams, coordinate release trains, and ensure delivery of strategic projects including RFPs, DDQs, Pricing, Business Acceptance, Lead to Ledger, Billing remediation, Fee Schedule streamlining, Deal Management Coordination, Benchmarking, and Presentation Design.

The role will also oversee controls transformation and RTE leadership for functions including KYC/AML, OREs, Complaints, Issues Management, Resiliency, Sanctions, and Financial Crimes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as Agile Lead Release Train Engineer for Deal Management and Commercial Controls functions.
  • Manage and deliver projects across RFPs, DDQs, Pricing, Business Acceptance, Lead to Ledger, Billing remediation, Fee Schedule streamlining, Deal Coordination, pricing/re‑pricing, benchmarking, and presentations design.
  • Oversee controls including KYC/AML, OREs, Complaints, Issues Management, Resiliency, Sanctions, and Financial Crimes.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver strategic‑level PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
  • Apply consulting skills to problem framing, analytical problem solving, and process engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with BNY policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field OR the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in financial services or consulting.
  • 2+ years proven experience as Agile Lead, Release Train Engineer, or similar role.
  • Deep understanding of Deal Management processes and Commercial Controls (KYC/AML, OREs, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, SAFe).
  • Experience with pricing, billing remediation, benchmarking, and controls in asset servicing.
  • Consulting background with demonstrated problem framing and process engineering expertise.
  • Complete fluency in strategic‑level PowerPoint presentation design.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $228,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and Company‑sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at‑will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
