Our Client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join the executive team and lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will be responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and financial management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
This role requires a strong communicator and relationship builder who can manage multiple priorities, support field operations, and maintain accountability across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead preconstruction efforts including budget and scope development, bidding, bid leveling, review, and buyout
- Develop and manage procurement plans, tracking long-lead items
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to establish and maintain the master project schedule
- Present project budgets and schedules to clients
- Create and manage all owner and subcontractor change orders
- Process and oversee RFIs, submittals, and document control through Procore
- Review and approve timecards, subcontractor invoices, owner billings, costs, and expenses
- Review and approve subcontractor and owner Schedule of Values
- Manage project compliance requirements
- Lead and run OAC meetings, subcontractor meetings, and internal coordination meetings
- Oversee submittal process to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor and update project budgets and financial reporting
Manage closeout procedures including financial reconciliation and owner training - Support field teams to ensure project goals are achieved
- Hold stakeholders accountable to maintain schedule and deliverables
- Minimum 4 years of commercial construction project management experience in Massachusetts
- Minimum 4 years of experience processing RFIs, submittals, change orders, financial management, and project documentation in Procore
- Minimum 4 years of experience in bid leveling and buyout (required)
- Hands‑on knowledge of Design Assist and Value Engineering methods
- Ability to interview for projects as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively
- Proven ability to build and maintain industry relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
- Strong financial acumen and reporting experience
