This role supports individuals in their own homes by promoting independence while empowering and enhancing their quality of life.
General Responsibilities- Assisting in the development of maximum independence, responsibility and self‑worth.

- Preparation and implementation of program goals, individuals’ service plans, progress reports and treatment plans.
- Nurturing a positive relationship with individuals, families, guardians and service providers.
- Providing for appropriate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
- Providing a climate for motivation and creating a supportive working relationship.
- Preparing and maintaining case records and program reports.
- Supervising and assigning duties to direct care staff when the house manager is unavailable.
- Carrying the emergency cellphone and attending to program emergencies at a moment’s notice when the house manager is unavailable.
- Attending administrative and clinical team meetings in the absence of the house manager.
- Training and orienting new employees to the residential program.
- Addressing and resolving any conflicts in a timely manner.
- Other administrative and managerial duties as assigned by the management.

Minimum Requirements- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- High school diploma and computer skills.
- Related college degree and/or minimum of one year’s experience.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is a plus.
