Are you ready to make your next career move to join our team and manage your own local modernization operations as our Modernization Superintendent for KONE Boston, MA area? The territory will be Boston-centric, plus Rhode Island.
Responsibilities- Lead a team on a complex job site, ensuring the site is ready every day.
- Implement and monitor safety guidelines as a top priority for you and your team.
- Provide learning opportunities for your team.
- Effectively manage a schedule and track your team’s overall performance.
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization to achieve business goals.
- Learn and leverage new technologies.
- Review bid documents and survey job requirements on upcoming bids with salespeople for modernization job sites.
- Handle financials to ensure profitability on modernization projects while effectively managing resources.
- Bring 5+ years of construction/service expertise and supervisory experience (ideally leading a union-represented workforce) or 7+ years of relevant working experience; bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of construction or service experience with supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience leading a union-represented workforce is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies; strong collaboration across organizational levels.

The hiring range for this role is $132,.
The compensation package offered will depend on the candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role, the needs of the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
CompensationVariable Compensation: KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
