The Director, Deployment and Program Management leads the deployment of Tatte’s initiatives to cafes & bakeries and strategic programs that bring Tatte’s vision to life across our growing markets. This role ensures that every deployment — whether food innovation, ops programs, or enterprise initiatives — achieves the intended outcome through detailed planning, effective communication, and the warmth that defines our brand.
The Director leads a high-performing project and deployment team responsible for connecting every cross-functional partner (Construction, Facilities, Ops Services, Culinary, Bakery, IT, People, and Finance) in flawless alignment. This leader brings both strategic and operational strength, capable of driving disciplined planning while fostering collaboration, communication, and care. As a critical role for the organization, the Director will shape how Tatte scales for the future while preserving our craft and essence.
- Develop and lead a deployment strategy that sequences and lands projects to deliver their intended outcomes
- Oversee all rollout initiatives from planning through post launch reviews
- Establish and maintain Tatte’s Deployment Playbook
- Manage project governance, ensuring every initiative is delivered on time, on budget, and on brand
- Coordinate sequencing and resource alignment to support Tatte’s growth roadmap
- Develop, mentor, and lead a team of project managers
- Create systems for accountability, communication, and clarity across all work streams
- Model leadership that reflects Tatte’s craft, warmth, and integrity
- Partner with Construction, Culinary, Bakery, IT, People, and Ops teams to ensure readiness across people, product, and systems
- Lead recurring cross-functional deployment meetings to drive alignment and issue resolution
- Serve as the operational “control tower” for all deployment activity
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce friction and increase efficiency across markets
- Develop templates, scorecards, and reporting dashboards to track progress, risks, and lessons learned
- Conduct post-launch reviews to drive continuous learning and refinement of deployment practices
- Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to ensure programs meet financial objectives
- Monitor KPIs across time, cost, and quality to ensure operational success
- Contribute to strategic planning, capacity modeling, and future-state infrastructure needs
- 8+ years of progressive experience in deployment, project management, or multi-unit operations leadership (hospitality or retail preferred)
- Proven record leading multi market enterprise level, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong operational, financial, and analytical acumen
- Expertise in project management methodologies (PMP certification preferred)
- Exceptional communication, influence, and organizational skills
- Growth mindset and leadership maturity to develop into future executive roles
- Ability to travel up to 40% (project reviews, cafe & bakery visits, and deployment reviews)
- Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends as project demands require
- Hybrid Boston-based role
- Competitive pay — ranging from $160,000 - $180,000 depending on experience, with bonus potential of up to 20%
