About The Company

Kodex revolutionizes how organizations handle sensitive subpoenas and data requests from law enforcement and government agencies. Founded by a former FBI agent and backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, and Thiel Capital, Kodex has become the industry standard for secure data exchange. Our platform supports over 15,000 government agencies in 190 countries and is trusted by industry leaders like Coinbase, Stripe, and AT&T.

By transforming a traditionally complex and manual process into a streamlined digital workflow, Kodex helps organizations strengthen compliance, enhance security, and reduce operational costs by millions each year. We bridge the gap between companies and authorized requestors, ensuring that sensitive data is handled with uncompromising security, transparency, and efficiency.

The Role

At Kodex, we are scaling rapidly. We are looking for a Manager, Sales who is ready to be a player-coach in a high-velocity environment. You won’t just be managing a dashboard; you will be on the front lines, shaping our sales culture, coaching our existing team of Account Executives to close their biggest deals, and refining the playbook that will take us from $10M to $50M ARR in the next 24 months.

If you thrive in ambiguity, love the thrill of the hunt, want the opportunity to sell to the world’s most impactful companies in our quest to prevent real-world harm, and find satisfaction in turning a "+maybe" into a loyal customer, this is your role.

What You’ll Do
  • Team Leadership:
Lead and elevate a currently staffed team of high-performing Account Executives. While hiring may be required occasionally, your primary focus is running weekly pipeline reviews, call coaching sessions, and stand-ups to maximize the potential of the existing team.
  • Drive Revenue:
Own the team quota. You are responsible for monthly and quarterly ARR targets. You will step in to help close complex deals when necessary.
  • Build the Playbook:
Iterate on sales scripts, email sequences, objection handling, and demo flows as processes evolve.
  • Forecast Accuracy & Operations:
Partner closely with Rev Ops to maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and ensure our revenue forecasts are accurate and actionable for leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Feedback:
Act as the voice of the market. Relay critical feedback from prospects to Product and Marketing to help shape our roadmap and messaging.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience:

5-7 years in B2B Enterprise SaaS sales, with at least 2 years of management or team lead experience.
  • The Growth Journey:
You have specific experience helping an organization scale through the $10M to $50M ARR phase and understand the unique challenges of that stage.
  • The Startup Gear:
You understand that "that’s not my job" doesn’t exist here. You are willing to pick up the phone, build a deck, or hunt for leads when the team needs a spark.
  • Data-Driven Coach:
You don’t coach on "vibes"; you coach on conversion rates, activity metrics, and call recordings.
  • Closer Mentality:
You have a track record of exceeding personal quotas and know exactly what it takes to get a contract across the line.
Benefits
  • Remote-first within the U.S.
  • Biannual offsites in exciting locations. Past trips include Seattle, Miami, Nashville, and San Francisco
  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
  • Unlimited PTO + 14 company holidays
  • 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave, with a flexible return-to-work policy
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Dynamic Environment:
Work on impactful, high-priority matters with opportunities for professional growth.
