About the job Accounting Manager - Nonprofit Organization

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review month end close activities (depreciation, revenue accruals, leases, etc.)
- Responsible for all Financial Statement Preparation
- Support budget and forecasting processes
- Responsible for banking relationship, cash management
- Ensure accounting standards are met
- Contribute to year-end audit preparation
- Manage a small team of direct reports - review work, conduct performance reviews
- Fully utilize existing systems and oversee new system implementations
- Support the Controller with ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or advanced degree
- 7-12+ years of experience
- Nonprofit experience is a plus
- Supervisory or managerial experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- Large ERP experience
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
