Hybrid work arrangement:
You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Brings Harbour Vest legacy background around systems and processes
  • Ability to provide commercially driven insights that inform strategic decision making
  • Established network of industry relationships and contacts to support business research and best practices
  • Brings cross‑functional expertise with experience in one or more of the following operational functions:
  • Accounting
  • Client Experience
  • Performance/Analytics
  • Transfer Agent
  • Treasury
  • Corporate Finance
  • Compliance – Regulatory and tax
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to push for client operational decisions on a project while seeking input from different perspectives, without existing precedents
  • Experience with separately managed mandates, complex open and closed‑end fund structures, alternatives, private equity, credit investments, real assets, and various performance fee structures
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms by building a template/model, summarizing in writing and in person
  • Experience working in team environments, with the ability to lead or facilitate group efforts
What you will do
  • Strong partnership and collaboration with senior professionals to assess operational build capacity and needs across accounting, treasury, taxation, client onboarding, reporting, performance and third‑party service providers
  • Assist in all aspects of the client operational launch of a new product from concept to full transition to the “Run” team
  • Initial assessment of key new operational processes and technology requirements for new product implementation, leveraging efficiencies and opportunities from past launches
  • Establish key dependencies and goals to meet client operational readiness launch targets
  • Carefully review legal and other product documentation from an operational commercial perspective
  • Solicit feedback and input from a broad cross‑section of the organization and evaluate inputs to inform decisions around product terms and related sales and operating models
  • Coordinate with operational leads to ensure the firm is prepared to support operational needs
  • Share experience and insights to influence product strategy and planning to build efficiencies across product strategies
  • Other responsibilities as required
What you bring
  • 10+ years of professional experience in the private markets or asset management space focused on client operations, with an understanding of fund structuring and involvement in product launch
  • Demonstrated excellence in implementing multi‑dimensional projects
  • Strong familiarity with SEC regulatory reporting, US GAAP, LUX GAAP, and other accounting frameworks
  • Strong understanding of the mechanics and inter‑dependencies of alternative investment funds
  • Familiarity with different legal structures used for investors to access private market strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms
Education Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
