Latch is looking for a Porter with experience in the residential and/or manufactured-housing real estate industry. The Porter will work under the direct supervision of the Property Manager.
The Porter will be responsible for performing cleaning and general maintenance throughout our portfolio of multifamily and manufactured-housing communities in and around Boston and the greater-Boston area. In addition, this person will help oversee grounds maintenance. Responsibilities- Cleaning hallways and common areas of buildings
- Janitorial work (minor repairs)
- Assist with meeting vendors
- Prepare Trash and Recycling for pick-up
- Painting
- Assist with inspections of residential properties
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
- Provide access for vendors, or meet vendors to receive deliveries as necessary
- Perform other maintenance duties as requested
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers and small hand tools
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work well with minimal supervision
- Self-Starter
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
- Driver’s license required & ability to drive
- Having teammates all over the world in the US, Argentina, Mexico, Italy, Uruguay, Portugal, and Spain.
