Overnight Porter

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time

Location: Boston, MA

Shift & Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am;
Overnight

Nice to Have: Prior porter or maintenance experience (cleaning and caring for location)

Propark is currently hiring Porters for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform cleaning tasks as per checklists and supervisor instructions to maintain cleanliness of the facility.
• Sweep and clean around entrances, exits, stairwells, and other designated areas.
• Empty trashcans in various locations.
• Ensure safety and security of equipment.
• Report violations, hazards, or unusual occurrences promptly.
• Assist with the pick-up and delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and operate cleaning equipment.
• Shovel, plow, or blow snow as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license if applicable.
• Energetic, able to stand, walk, carry up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve issues positively.

Preferred: Customer service experience of 1+ year.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

Must be able to stand, walk, handle tools, reach, talk, and hear. Occasionally lift/move objects up to 25 lbs. Work may be outdoors, exposed to weather, fumes, and noise.
