Airport Lounge Cleaner

Overview

Join our team as an Airport Lounge Cleaner with a starting pay of $19.75 per hour. This position supports lounge operations at The Lounge located in Boston Logan International Airport. The Cleaner ensures lounge and facilities are kept clean and in good order, meeting sanitation regulations and guest expectations. Weekend availability is required.

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, break rooms.
• Assist with clearing tables of dirty dishes and cleaning tables.
• Restock beverage stations.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to designated disposal areas within and outside of the lounge.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and restroom floors.
• Replenish restroom supplies and polish metalwork including fixtures and fittings.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; additional floor work may include scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
• Washes walls and woodwork, cleans windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
• Notify supervisor regarding any maintenance repairs or additions observed.
• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and partitions.
• Must be able to stand for an entire scheduled shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the housekeeping/janitorial field.
• Ability to maintain a presentable and polished appearance in keeping with service standards in a best-in-class environment.
• Ability to stand during the entire scheduled shift.
• Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced work shift up to ten hours.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Report work on a regular and timely basis.
• Adhere to local and state health department guidelines.
• Able to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass and obtain security background check and clearance to work in an airport environment.
