Buyer, Supply Chain​/Logistics

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to assist our premier Robotics client’s Global Procurement Team in placing and managing orders for material required to deploy robotic fulfillment centers. This will include working with the global supply base to ensure orders are placed, expedited, tracked, and invoiced correctly. The role will work onsite in North Reading, MA and starts as a 6-month contract opportunity.

• Maintain the recurring cadence of placing and managing PO’s
• Research invoice issues for shipping/receiving.
• Maintain supplier/vendor communications to ensure timely delivery and prevent stockouts or operational disruptions
• Troubleshoot procurement or delivery issues and elevate when needed.
• Utilize MS-Excel for weekly and monthly reporting

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in PO placement/management
• Highly organized, self-motivated, detail oriented and have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point).
• An understanding of data management and databases is also a plus.
• Able to work a highly, but collegial environment where teamwork is a must.
