Senior Insurance Regulatory Associate

Davis Malm seeks an associate to work in their sophisticated insurance regulatory group. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience working with insurers, insurance regulators, insurance agencies, and/or corporate clients facing insurance-related issues. Alternatively, candidates with strong backgrounds in administrative law and/or commercial litigation would be good fits for this role.

Support and contribute to a national insurance regulatory practice, assisting with matters involving insurer formation, change of control, re domestication, supervision/examination, delinquency proceedings, coverage analysis/litigation, and financial analysis. Collaborate with experienced colleagues to provide high-quality work and help navigate the firm’s future direction.

Conduct research, analyze regulatory issues, and communicate findings clearly to clients and team members. Participate in mentoring junior associates and contribute to a collaborative, professional firm culture.

4-8 years of experience with insurers, insurance regulators, insurance agencies, and/or corporate clients facing insurance-related issues. Alternatively, strong backgrounds in administrative law and/or commercial litigation are acceptable.

Self-starter with strong research, analytical, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Salary range: $130K - $175K, plus bonus program.

Applicants must be available to work on-site in our Boston office consistent with our current flex work schedule.
