A well-established, litigation-focused firm in Boston is looking to add a mid–senior level litigation associate to its general commercial litigation practice. This is a rare opportunity to join a firm known for exceptional retention, real responsibility, and a genuinely healthy culture.
🔍 The Work- Handle commercial litigation matters from early stages through resolution
- Work across contract disputes, business torts, and partnership/shareholder conflicts
- Take ownership of motions, hearings, and discovery with real courtroom exposure
- Manage an active caseload while receiving strong partner support
- Engage directly with clients — associates are visible, trusted, and empowered
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Experience with commercial disputes (contracts, fraud, fiduciary duties, governance)
- Able to manage a high-volume docket efficiently and independently
- Admitted in Massachusetts (or eligible)
- Team-first mindset — collaborative, grounded, and professional
- Exposure to real estate, land use, or insurance-related litigation
- Trial experience (supported and coached if limited)
- Broad litigation background vs. narrow specialization
- Early responsibility and meaningful voice in firm decisions
- Long-term stability: many attorneys stay from clerkship to partnership
- No academic pedigree requirements — performance > pedigree
