Our employment attorneys have a broad institutional knowledge of the numerous federal, state, and local employment laws that apply to employers in different industries. We represent clients in all types of employment-related litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. We provide everyday employment advisory services to help clients address complex workplace issues, and we also help clients ensure compliance with complex employee benefit and deferred and other equity-based compensation requirements.
ResponsibilitiesMintz is seeking an associate with 4+ years of employment law experience to join its North American team in Boston. Responsibilities will include working on all aspects of employment litigations (e.g., discrimination, wage and hour, non-compete cases and breach of contract matters), everyday employment and HR-related counseling matters, drafting of employment-related policies and agreements, and conducting investigations and trainings.
Qualifications- Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Must be admitted or eligible for admission in Massachusetts
- At least four years of employment law experience, including experience:
- Litigating employment matters before state and federal courts and administrative agencies
- Advising employers on employment-related compliance matters
- Drafting employment policies and employment-related agreements
- Conducting investigations
- Delivering employment-related compliance training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to prioritize, stay organized, take ownership over matters, and exercise attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

The salary range for this position is $310,000 to $365,000. This position is bonus eligible.
