We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented PIP (Personal Injury Protection) Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of legal matters related to personal injury claims, insurance disputes, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will help ensure our clients receive fair and efficient resolution of their claims while maintaining the highest standards of legal integrity.

The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional research skills, and a passion for advocacy to support our mission of delivering outstanding legal service.

Responsibilities
  • Handle complex personal injury protection (PIP) claims, including evaluating damages, negotiating settlements, and managing litigation processes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis Nexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft clear and persuasive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and correspondence.
  • Review and analyze medical records, insurance policies, and other pertinent documentation to build strong cases.
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and experts to facilitate effective communication and case resolution.
  • Stay informed about developments in estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers  compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and other relevant legal areas to provide comprehensive advice.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all case activities within the law office management system and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support the legal administrative team by managing case files efficiently and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
Experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in personal injury law or insurance defense is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in litigation procedures and legal research using Westlaw or Lexis Nexis.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable outcomes while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of legal practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers  compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and personal injury law.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce precise legal drafting tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Prior experience working in a busy law office environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
