Litigation Associate

Description We are looking for an experienced Litigation Associate to join a dynamic law firm in Boston, Massachusetts. This role focuses on commercial litigation, with a strong preference for candidates who have expertise in construction-related disputes. The ideal candidate will bring valuable legal knowledge, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to achieving exceptional results for clients.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in commercial and construction litigation matters, ensuring effective legal strategies and advocacy.

- Draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

- Conduct thorough legal research to support case arguments and develop sound strategies.

- Manage complex litigation cases, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and legal guidance throughout the litigation process.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions for challenging legal issues.

- Analyze case law and statutes to identify relevant precedents and strengthen arguments.

- Negotiate settlements when appropriate to resolve disputes efficiently.

- Attend court hearings and trials, presenting arguments with professionalism and confidence.

- Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards while representing clients. Requirements - Must be a licensed attorney in good standing.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience handling commercial litigation cases.

- Demonstrated expertise in drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

- Strong background in complex commercial litigation, including case management and trial preparation.

- Preferably experienced in construction-related litigation.

- Excellent legal research and analytical skills.

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members.

- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
