The Company is transforming immunology and delivering medicines that help autoimmune patients get their lives back. argenx is preparing for multi‑dimensional expansion to reach more patients through a rich pipeline of differentiated assets, led by VYVGART (IV) and VYVGART Hytrulo (SC), the Company’s first‑in‑class neonatal Fc receptor blocker, currently approved for the treatment of generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG) and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), and with the potential to treat patients across dozens of severe autoimmune diseases.
Position Overview: argenx US, Inc. is seeking to fill the role of an Associate Director, US Commercial Counsel ("Commercial Counsel"). Reporting to the Head of Legal‑Americas, the Commercial Counsel will be a trusted business partner and problem‑solver on a wide range of legal and compliance matters, serving as a key member of the global legal, compliance, and IP team with responsibility for providing legal, regulatory, and healthcare advice in support of the preparation, launch and commercialization of argenx’s in‑line and future products and indications.
Experience: The successful candidate will hold a J.D. and have a minimum of 5 years of legal experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and/or a law firm, with focused expertise in the areas of commercial healthcare and regulatory law related to the development and commercialization of biopharmaceutical products. Experience working in both a law firm and a commercial‑stage biotech/pharmaceutical company is strongly preferred.
Location: Boston, MA on a hybrid schedule (in office approximately 2 days/week).
Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Compensation includes base salary range of $196–294K, 15% annual target bonus, plus equity.
Bar: Admission to at least one state bar in the United States.
