Data Analyst, Data Engineer
We are currently hiring an Enterprise Data Intern in Boston MA. This is a 10-week summer internship running from June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026.
The Enterprise Data Intern will join the growing Enterprise Data team to solve challenging problems and provide actionable insights. The objective is to help the right candidate achieve their goals by providing hands‑on projects. We are looking for the right mix of energy, basic skills, and willingness to learn to help the team as it shores the foundation needed for scalable data operations.
The role will primarily focus on Master Data that is used cross functionally to develop, commercialize, produce, promote, sell, and distribute BBC's broad portfolio. Subject areas are likely to include product information, materials and bills of materials needed for production, customer, and/or vendor data. The role will work with subject matter experts in Enterprise Data and across the business and external partners, where needed.
Whatyou'll Brew:
- Gain real world experience through projects. Project examples include, analyzing data, data cleansing, data life‑cycle process discovery, process and data improvement recommendations.
- Learn from co‑workers and external subject matter experts.
- Receive guidance and feedback from Enterprise Data mentors.
- Collaborate with the team to understand the Master Data landscape at BBC and consequences to the business.
- Willingness to learn a variety of data management tools and enterprise applications.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Complete assigned tasks with guidance from Enterprise Data mentors.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices is a bonus.
- Currently enrolled in higher education, or recent graduate, of program in computer science, data science, math, etc.; may or may include Business Administration, Management Information Systems or similar.
- Good knowledge of data analysis or other data science methods
- Experience in experimentation or the scientific method
- Participation as a team or organization member
- Data analysis/analytics
- Good and growing technical ability
In accordance with pay transparency laws the rate for this role if hired is $18 - $20 an hour.
