Life Analytics is expanding in the Greater Boston area and is looking for a highly motivated, field-focused sales professional to drive new customer acquisition for:
1) Life Analytics IAS – a cloud-based integrated analysis platform that connects multi-modal R&D data and workflows, and
2) A desktop AI “supercomputer” solution for local AI/LLM workloads (e.g., NVIDIA DGX Spark-class systems).
This is a commission-only, uncapped role. If you are entrepreneurial, comfortable prospecting, and strong at consultative selling to scientists and technical stakeholders, we’d like to talk.
What You’ll Do- Identify and develop new opportunities across biotech, pharma, research labs, hospitals, and universities in Greater Boston
- Run discovery calls, product demos, and solution presentations (IAS + desktop AI computing)
- Build and manage a pipeline from outreach, networking, events, and partner introductions
- Coordinate with our technical team on evaluations, security/IT questions, and proof-of-concepts
- Negotiate and close subscription (IAS) and hardware deals; expand accounts with add-ons and renewals
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, forecasts, and deal documentation
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience (life science, scientific software, analytics platforms, lab/medical devices, HPC/AI hardware are a plus)
- Ability to sell to both scientists and IT/security stakeholders
- Strong written/verbal communication and disciplined follow-up
- Self-starter mindset; comfortable with commission-only compensation
- Based in (or able to travel frequently within) the Greater Boston area
- Commission-only (no base salary), uncapped
- Commission rate: 10%–18% of net sales (depending on deal type/volume; accelerators for bundled IAS + desktop systems)
- Commission is calculated on net revenue (excluding taxes/shipping/returns). Specific plan details shared during the process.
- Product training, demo environment, and sales collateral
- Technical support for demos/POCs and customer onboarding
