Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise across SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) modules. The ideal candidate will deliver end-to-end supply chain planning solutions, support ongoing operations, and work closely with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SAP IBP capabilities in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities SAP IBP Implementation & Configuration- Implement and configure SAP IBP modules including:
- Supply
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Order-Based Planning (OBP)
- Control Tower
- Inventory Planning (nice to have)
- Perform application modeling in SAP IBP.
- Support data integration between SAP IBP and S/4
HANA using CPI-DS or RTI.
- Provide day-to-day production support for SAP IBP.
- Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and monitor system performance.
- Ensure system stability, data accuracy, and optimal performance.
- Support end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including:
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Statistical forecasting
- Supply and inventory planning
- Apply strong SCM domain knowledge across logistics and planning functions.
- Independently conduct client workshops, gather requirements, and perform fit/gap analysis.
- Design reporting and analytics templates aligned with business needs.
- Translate business processes into feasible technical SAP IBP solutions.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and communicate status and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Consistently deliver high-quality client services.
- Work in an Agile delivery model, participating in sprint planning and reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP IBP.
- Strong expertise in:
- SAP IBP Supply and S&OP (mandatory)
- OBP and Control Tower (highly preferred)
- Proven experience with SAP IBP data integration using CPI-DS or RTI with S/4
HANA. - Strong understanding of planning principles and practices.
- Deep knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Experience with Agile ways of working.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
- Basic understanding of RDBMS concepts, schemas, and environments.
- Ability to perform simple SQL queries.
- Experience defining system strategies, requirements, designs, and prototypes.
- Exposure to SAP IBP Inventory module.
