OverviewLABUR is supporting a client through a complex Oracle HCM Cloud implementation that requires strong program leadership and disciplined execution. This engagement provides strategic oversight across the full implementation lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, stakeholder expectations, and enterprise architecture standards. The Project Manager partners closely with HR and IT leadership, system integrators, and business stakeholders to govern scope, mitigate risk, and deliver a scalable, sustainable human capital management platform that supports long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities- Drive the end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
- Create and maintain program charters, implementation roadmaps, and success metrics aligned with HR and enterprise objectives.
- Partner with Oracle implementation vendors, internal IT teams, and HR stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Manage interdependencies across HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, and Benefits.
- Lead data migration, system integration, and configuration activities in collaboration with technical teams.
- Create and maintain governance structures to support decision-making, issue resolution, and change control.
- Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory requirements throughout the implementation.
- Track and report on program performance, including scope, schedule, budget, and value realization.
- Lead executive steering committee sessions, stakeholder communications, and readiness assessments.
- Collaborate with change management and training teams to support user adoption and organizational readiness.
- Operate as a trusted advisor on Oracle HCM Cloud capabilities, best practices, and industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 7-10+ years of progressive experience in project and program management, including delivery of large, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- 2–4 years of experience leading complex programs in matrixed organizational environments.
- PMP and/or PgMP certification preferred; experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading both technical and business-focused initiatives.
- Experience with program financial management, resource planning, and vendor oversight.
- Strong command of program and project management practices, including work breakdown structures, critical path analysis, risk management, and scope control.
- Solid understanding of enterprise technology environments, IT service delivery models, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple work streams with competing priorities and timelines.
- Proficiency with program management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex information to executive audiences.
- Strong leadership and influence skills, including the ability to drive outcomes without direct authority.
- Experience supporting organizational change management and business process transformation.
$180,000 - $190,000 per year - Dependent on fit and experience.
