Location: On-Site | Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Boston, MA
Contract: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | $24/hr
Position OverviewThe Network Technician I provides onsite desktop and device support as part of a Mass General Brigham COVID Surge initiative. This role supports Windows 11 deployment, break/fix troubleshooting, and hardware installations across hospital environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide break/fix support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Deploy, image, and configure Windows 11 devices per IT standards.
- Install software, test network connectivity, and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including OS re‑imaging and hardware replacement.
- Document service requests and resolutions in ticketing systems.
- Prioritize and elevate issues as needed; support on‑call rotation if required.
- Minimum 1 year of desktop support experience.
- Hands‑on experience installing and troubleshooting PCs and peripherals.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and networking fundamentals.
