Position Summary:

Ensure service levels and quality standards are fulfilled in the Network Operations Center environment by proactively overseeing a variety of Global operations systems; identifying and responding to internal and external customers requests; resolving questions/problems; and monitoring various Global systems to include ERP, Network, Server, Enterprise platforms.
Position Responsibilities:
Proactively monitor NOC/Global systems/environments. Oversee ERP/Enterprise daily processing of business systems utilizing automated software tools. Troubleshoot and correct problems/errors. Coordinate/escalate with various on call IT Teams (applications, Infrastructure, Product, Systems) aiding with correcting problems within environments. Other duties to include - Data/report management, scheduling, tape management, console and backup management. Escalate issues/coordination with internal teams and external partners/vendors as necessary.
Ensure customer requests are handled promptly, effectively and questions/problems are resolved, provide feedback and suggestions to all support areas. Recommend and implement improved processes and/or procedures.
Establish and monitor performance measurements on all systems as defined by management. Capability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems and provide input and interaction with IT Teams (Applications, Systems, Server, Product, PC, etc.).
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Position Requirements :
Requires education equivalent to an associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years' Network Operations Center experience with problem monitoring and escalation of problems within the environment. PC software/hardware, OS/400 software/hardware. Knowledge of IT/Helpdesk software. Excellent communication skills necessary to facilitate the understanding of technical issues for non-technical customers. Familiarity of Networking and server monitoring software.

Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment is necessary. Working knowledge of Microsoft software tools. Ability to interact and follow through with New Balance associate requests. Experience using a Problem Logging/Tracking Software package.

Responsibilities Include:

Monitor Job Scheduling, execution, and performance. Respond/investigate job failures/alerts, document finding and resolving issues using available tools
Completion/verify scheduled of production processing and backup schedules
Monitor system tools for server and network environments ensure tickets are opened and escalated as required
Troubleshooting problems and working with global associates/organization
Track and update problem tickets/change orders using Fresh Service software ticketing system or similar
Conduct client-requested save/restore activities
Manage system objects:
Subsystems, job queues, output queues, etc.
Assist in preparing incident reports for internal and external communication
Receive application messages and follow runbook or escalate
Perform IPLs on systems and confirm start/completion times
Recognize, prioritize, and track cases based on SLA and operational impact
Resolve assigned support tickets and alerts to enhance client satisfaction
Provide escalation status notifications for service-impacting events
Monitor software responds to alerts to remote UPS systems
Complete daily shift turnover and checkl

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
