Search Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a SEM/SEO Specialist to join our team. This role is directly embedded with our client, supporting a global brand recognized for its category leadership in investment management.

As a Global SEM Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing organic and paid search campaigns. You’ll act as a strategic partner to the client’s search function and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-impact marketing initiatives. You will report directly to the client’s Head of Search, working closely with the search team on day-to-day strategy and execution.

While your primary focus will be on managing SEM campaigns, you will also support occasional SEO-related tasks as needed.

• Serve as the primary liaison for search campaigns, managing campaign execution and performance.
• Collaborate with the client’s product marketing team to develop campaign strategies and manage paid search programs across Google, and Microsoft ecosystem.
• Provide recommendations and optimizations for media strategy, creative assets, and ad copy.
• Oversee tracking implementation and tagging to ensure accurate campaign measurement.
• Monitor campaign performance and lead the implementation of data-driven optimizations.
• Conduct performance reviews with the paid search agency, reporting on KPIs and success metrics.
• Build strong relationships across client marketing teams and partner agencies to identify integration opportunities and campaign enhancements.
• Support billing and budget management for search campaigns.
• Contribute to SEO initiatives as needed, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance analysis.
• This role may occasionally require working outside regular hours if needed given the global remit.

• 2+ years of experience in a paid search-focused role.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of search strategy and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated curiosity and a growth mindset, with a passion for learning and innovation.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
