Job Summary

Boston University Information Services & Technology (IS&T) seeks an SAP Payroll Functional Analyst to join our high‑performing team. The role focuses on SAP Payroll configuration, with oversight into Time (TM), Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Benefits (BE) modules. The analyst will contribute to SAP best practices across SAP ERP, Business Suite on HANA, Payroll Control Center, ESS/MSS, SAP Fiori, S4/HANA, Success Factors, BSI Tax Software, and W‑2 processing.

The position offers remote/hybrid options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with functional analysts, developers, and clients to deliver robust solutions following SAP best practices.
  • Execute and configure payroll‑related objects, including wage types, payroll and time schemas, and tax data.
  • Conduct strategic analysis and prepare functional design documentation based on business requirements.
  • Participate in project implementations.
  • Monitor, prioritize, and work on product backlogs and support tickets.
  • Define and execute test phases of payroll runs, parallel payrolls, and fiscal and year‑end processing.
Requirements
  • B.A./B.S. in an applicable field or comparable experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP Payroll, HCM, and related SAP technologies.
