Job Description The Role

In this architect role within Fidelity’s Workplace Investing Technology Group, you will drive technology strategy and architecture aligned with business outcomes. The candidate will provide technical leadership to agile teams through collaboration with product teams through architecture designs, adoption of standards, evaluations, and recommendations of solutions. Your architectural direction will help us modernize and innovate our recordkeeping systems providing service to over 20 million customers!

• Education – BS or MS required.
• Azure experience, certification also a plus
• Shown ability to analyze business direction and problems, understand long term vision and risk in developing strategic technical solutions. Financial services experience a plus.
• Demonstrate knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, data architecture, and new technologies with clear expertise in one or more of these areas.
• Solid Understanding in all aspects of technical architecture (operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization)
• Collaborating with product partners and seeing opportunities to refactor business processes, improve customer experience or perform capability rationalization.
• Critical problem solving and sophisticated troubleshooting to drive resolution to technical issues.
• Strong presentation, documentation, communication and influencing skills with varying audiences
• Willingness to experiment, innovate and seek resources to learn, grow and find solutions
