What

You'll Do

BCG’s purpose is to “Unlock the Potential of Those Who Advance the World”. At BCG U, we contribute to that unlock through next generation, large‑scale upskilling solutions that build an organization’s capability to transform in a transforming world. Our focus is on ensuring leaders and teams at every level have the knowledge and skills they need to play their pivotal role in realizing value and impact.

At BCG U, we are transforming how upskilling programs are designed, delivered, and scaled — in many cases powered by GenAI and intelligent systems. As a Technical Product Manager, you will live at the intersection of product vision, engineering execution, and business impact. This role is ideal for someone who understands the business and user needs—but can also work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with engineers to build modern, scalable, AI‑powered learning products that deliver measurable ROI.

You will lead technical execution of the product roadmap, translate UI/UX and business goals into implementation plans, and own communication and alignment with engineering teams. Your focus will be to ensure that delivery timelines are met, scope is realistic, and the product performs as intended.

You will be a member of the BCG U Platform & Solutions team, responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end lifecycle of our upskilling solutions, which deliver strategic capability building for BCG U’s clients. BCG U’s portfolio of products will include cohort‑based, instructor‑led, synchronous, and asynchronous content and learning journeys, simulations, learning assets and assessments necessary to deliver BCG U upskilling offerings.

You are good at
  • Translate product vision and UX mockups into detailed technical requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical scope, architecture tradeoffs, and delivery timelines.
  • Act as a technical liaison between non-technical stakeholders and engineering, ensuring product feasibility aligns with business goals.
  • Drive clarity on priorities, de‑scope where necessary, and continuously assess team velocity and blockers.
  • Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical discovery sessions with engineers.
  • Make build‑vs‑buy recommendations based on product and business needs.
  • Coordinate with designers to ensure product consistency and with QA to ensure quality.
  • Manage project risks and communicate delivery updates to business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, and Delivery to ensure our learning platform meets user needs and reflects our high‑quality standards.
What You'll Bring
  • 8-10 years of experience in technical product management, ideally within EdTech, workforce development, SaaS, or AI‑enabled learning platforms.
  • Deep understanding of software development practices, Agile methodology, and modern tech stacks.
  • Proven experience owning end‑to‑end product lifecycle from discovery to launch.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate UX and business goals into functional and technical specs.
  • Familiarity with upskilling and workforce enablement strategies, learning science principles, and capability‑building programs.
  • Experience working with GenAI tools and frameworks for content creation, personalized learning, or learner analytics is a…
