Responsibilities- Develop and implement Appian applications and web-based solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to mid-level developers when needed.
- Understand the differences between REST vs. SOAP and core principles of integrating with web services.
- Collaborate with business users to convert business requirements into technical designs, including data mapping and loading into data warehouses.
- Build critical Appian-based applications and associated integration components in Java.
- Develop Appian BPM applications and integrate them with external or COTS systems.
- Estimate, size, and plan Appian business requirements; serve as a problem-solver during design and development.
- Debug and troubleshoot Interfaces, SAIL forms, and Process Models.
- Appian Analyst and Appian Designer Level certifications required.
- Ability to lead a distributed engineering team.
- Strong understanding of at least one major programming language (Java, Python, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience with Appian Sites and complex SAIL forms.
- Experience executing multiple integrations with external systems.
- Ability to scope, size, and estimate Appian projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
