Senior Business Analyst

Our client is looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join their team in a hybrid role based in Boston. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on BA who thrives in both project delivery and day‑to‑day application support within a fast‑paced financial environment.

• Lead business requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across technology and finance
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements
• Support large, complex initiatives from concept through implementation
• Partner with Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Provide ongoing BAU support to deepen application expertise and ensure operational continuity

This role requires someone who is equally comfortable driving project work and rolling up their sleeves to support live systems. The ability to balance both is essential.

• 3–5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Confidence facilitating requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum preferred)
• Fund Accounting experience required (Private Equity experience is a strong plus)
• Experience supporting financial applications or transactional finance systems
• Proven ability to contribute to large, complex initiatives
