The Azure & Windows Admin is responsible for managing and supporting Windows infrastructure, Active Directory environments, and cloud solutions within Azure.
This role requires hands-on expertise with system administration, monitoring tools, automation, cloud networking, and deployment strategies.
The position also includes maintaining system documentation, runbooks, and inventories across on-premises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, configure, and maintain Windows environments, including system policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Manage and support Active Directory/Entra environments, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Utilize WSUS, Power Shell, and SCOM (System Center Operations Manager) for system updates, automation, and monitoring.
- Manage Azure environments, including cloud networking, storage, hosting, resource configuration, and deployments.
- Apply Azure administration best practices and maintain Azure Runbooks & Configuration Guides.
- Work with cloud deployment strategies and Dev Ops practices, including infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Windows Runbook & Configuration Guides
- Maintain and update service and systems inventory across multiple platforms, including:
- ESX systems
- AWS systems
- Strong knowledge of Windows administration, policies, configuration, and operational procedures.
- Proficiency with Active Directory/Entra administration and configuration.
- Experience with WSUS, Power Shell scripting, and SCOM monitoring.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud administration, including networking, storage, hosting, and deployments.
- Understanding of cloud deployment strategies and Dev Ops practices.
- Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and runbooks across multiple environments.
- Ability to manage system inventories across ESX, Azure, and AWS platforms.
- Experience supporting multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
- Experience documenting end-to-end onboarding and configuration workflows.
