Sr. Director Engineering

The Senior Director of Emerging Technology & Engineering defines and drives the long-term technology direction across enterprise architecture, data platforms, advanced analytics, AI/ML, and core engineering practices. This leader owns architectural governance, emerging technology evaluation, and engineering standards across Global IT. The role blends strategy and execution — setting roadmaps, guiding platform and architecture decisions, and building high-performing architecture and engineering teams in regulated environments.

• Set enterprise direction across architecture, data, analytics, and AI/ML; drive emerging tech and MLOps adoption.
• Own platform roadmaps and advise executives on investments and tradeoffs.
• Establish architecture standards and governance; lead review boards and target-state alignment.
• Promote Dev Ops, automation, and observability best practices.
• Define resilience and security standards for critical platforms.
• Oversee monitoring, patching, vulnerability, and incident models.
• Drive roadmap communication and change with executives.
• Ensure compliance alignment and cross-team accountability

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 15+ years of broad technology experience across multiple domains (architecture, data, analytics, engineering, delivery, or IT operations).
• Demonstrated leadership in enterprise architecture and engineering governance.
• Proven experience with AI/ML and advanced analytics technologies and platforms.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure, especially AWS-based environments.
• Experience leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture methods and platform design.
