Off The Hook Yacht Sales and our affiliated brands run multiple Word Press marketing sites, API-driven inventory pages, and a custom Laravel/Vue CRM that powers brokerage operations, inventory, and broker commissions. We’re looking for a junior-to-mid level Technology Systems Developer to become the day-to-day technical owner of these systems — keeping them fast, stable, integrated, and continuously improving.

This is not a “ticket taker” role. This is a hands-on builder role for someone who loves Word Press, understands APIs deeply, and is comfortable working inside a modern Laravel/Vue environment.

Help be part of the solutions, turning operational, sales, and marketing needs into real, working systems.

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance all Word Press sites
• Manage ACF
  , custom post types, and Gutenberg blocks
• Maintain themes, plugins, and core updates with proper staging/testing
• Manage staging vs. production and clean deployment practices

• Support and optimize API-fed listing pages across websites
• Diagnose API failures, slow loads, and data sync issues
• Maintain integrations with API, Hub Spot, Twilio, and CRM feeds
• Improve caching and performance of API-heavy pages

• Help develop and maintain CRM features for:
• Lead management
• Inventory tracking
• Broker commission workflows
• Write clean PHP/MySQL code in Laravel 12
• Support Vue 3 components using the Composition API

• Improve site speed, caching, and database efficiency
• Monitor uptime and system health
• Act as first responder for outages, backups, and restorations
• Maintain Linux/Forge environments and deployment hygiene

• Recommend architectural, tooling, and performance improvements
• Translate operational needs into technical solutions
• Document systems as they evolve

• Backend: Laravel 12, PHP 8.x, MySQL, Word Press
• Frontend: Vue 3, Inertia.js, Tailwind CSS
• Word Press: Custom themes, plugins, ACF, Gutenberg
• Integrations: Hub Spot, Twilio,  API
• Infrastructure: Git, Forge, Linux servers

• CRM features for leads, inventory, and commissions
• API integrations and troubleshooting across platforms
• Custom Word Press themes, plugins, and functionality
• Vue 3 components using Composition API
• Clean, documented, maintainable code

• 2+ years experience with Laravel
• Strong Word Press development (custom themes/plugins — not page builders)
• Experience with ACF, CPTs, Gutenberg
• Solid PHP & MySQL across Laravel and Word Press
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience with Vue 3
• Familiarity with Git, Linux servers, and Forge
• Independent troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
