IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Maitsys is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure initiatives, including cloud migrations and data center relocations. This role requires hands-on project leadership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has successfully delivered infrastructure transformation projects and is comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including:
• Cloud migration initiatives (Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments)
• Data center moves, consolidations, and decommissioning
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network, security, application, and vendor teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
• Manage dependencies across multiple work streams and ensure on-time delivery
• Oversee change management, cutover planning, and post-migration stabilization
• Track milestones, KPIs, and deliverables; provide regular status reporting to leadership
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and blockers proactively
• Ensure projects follow best practices for security, compliance, and governance
• Support pre-sales activities as needed, including project scoping and estimation

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure project management
• Proven experience leading Cloud Migration projects (Azure, AWS, or hybrid)
• Hands‑on experience managing Data Center Moves (physical or virtual)
• Strong understanding of:
• Cloud infrastructure and migration frameworks
• Experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Boston, MA area

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, and modern infrastructure tools
• Exposure to security, identity, and compliance considerations during migrations
• Experience working in consulting or professional services environments
• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models
