Akkodis is seeking an UX Product Designer for a Contract position with a client located in Boston, MA.

Rate Range: $45-$50/hr on W2 without benefits. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Job Types: 6+ Months Contract

Position Summary:

• We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our UX Product Design team working on the modernization of our claims adjuster experience focused on servicing customer claims.
• You will focus on creating best-in-class digital tools for power users, aimed at improving claims adjuster efficiency, improving employee satisfaction, reducing service expenses and technology costs.

This role might be for you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of UX/product design experience.
• Experience using methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and human-centered design.
• Familiarity with the following core disciplines, with demonstrated expertise in at least two and familiarity with the others: visual design, UX design, prototyping, information architecture, front-end development, user research.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to present projects and status reports to senior management.
• Strong organization and analytic thinking skills, with ability to translate moderately complex content into user scenarios, flows and diagrams.
• Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Online portfolio with examples of UX work and/or case studies.
• Experience with insurance claims is a plus.
