CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Cloud and Storage Engineer to develop and implement full-scale Storage Area Network (SAN) architecture for a large EMC-based SAN infrastructure supporting a federal agency. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and produce standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, and security.

- Design and implement SAN architecture for EMC-based infrastructure, considering performance, capacity, replication, disaster recovery, and security.
- Define strategic direction for SAN and backup environments.
- Translate storage requirements into enterprise solutions.
- Plan storage capacity and report utilization.
- Develop standards for storage configuration, optimization, and security.
- Troubleshoot SAN issues and collaborate with internal and external customers.
- Participate in maintenance and projects on storage infrastructure.
- Create technical documentation, roadmaps, and cost models.
- Manage SAN infrastructure to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Architect and maintain private and hybrid cloud environments, including Gov Cloud (AWS, Azure).
- Perform security tasks such as vulnerability scans, patch management, and audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or relevant field; 8+ years of relevant experience may substitute.
- Experience with Dell EMC products (OneFS, MDS SAN switches, Unity, Isilon, VNS, Data Domain, Recover Point).
