Position OverviewA large organization in the healthcare domain is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business operations. This role focuses on building high-quality data solutions using Snowflake and Informatica
, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, security, and accessibility for enterprise stakeholders.
The primary work location for this role is Boston, Massachusetts

Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica to ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake
.Ensure data handling and storage comply with HIPAA, HITECH
, and organizational privacy and security standards.Develop and support data models, schemas, and views within Snowflake to enable efficient analytics and reporting.
Support data interoperability and exchange initiatives using healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, and X12 EDI
.Implement robust data ingestion, transformation, and data quality processes to ensure trusted and consistent datasets.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and Shakespeare.) (performance and reliability.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation related to data flows, metadata, transformation logic, and architecture.
Support data security, access control, and governance within Snowflake and Informatica environments.
Participate in testing, deployment, and release management for new data workflows and enhancements.
3–5 years of experience in SQL-based data engineering or ETL development.
Hands‑on experience with:
Snowflake Cloud Data Platform
, including SQL development and data modeling.Informatica Power Center or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Strong proficiency in SQL
, including complex convirtiénd, procedures, and data warehousing concepts.3–6 years of experience with SQL and scripting languages.
