Applicants must possess and demonstrate in their application packages that they meet the requirements in section 1 AND 2 below:

1. Basic Requirement

Information Technology experience demonstrating each of the following competencies:
Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication and Problem Solving. This experience may have been gained by performing the following types of duties:
Ensuring IT systems availability, functionality integrity and efficiency; performing the full spectrum of litigation support services to include database administration, e-discovery, and trial preparation; and planning, organizing and evaluating the work of subordinates.

2. Specialized Experience

In addition, to be eligible at the GS-13 level, you must meet at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:

  • Presenting complex electronic evidence and implementing suitable technical solutions to manage commonly found and complex electronically stored information.
  • Planning and improving information systems to meet the needs of customer requirements.
  • Analyzing, developing, and supporting an e‑Litigation program providing technical and strategic advice on litigation technology applications to meet e‑Litigation objectives.
  • Possessing strong customer service and communication skills (written and oral) to include experience in writing technical documents; creating user guides for end users; evaluating and reporting on accomplishments; and presenting to various stakeholders from end users to senior management.
Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)

The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
