Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our Digital Strategy Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will work closely with our Director of Digital Engagement and Marketing Automation Manager to align priorities, understand business requirements, and execute strategies for digital communication across various mediums.
Responsibilities- Design and develop marketing automation solutions:
Architect, design, and implement marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support multi‑channel campaigns and solutions. - Automation and personalization:
Implement marketing automation rules and triggers to personalize customer interactions, and develop dynamic content and personalized messaging to improve engagement. - Data management:
Ensure data integrity and quality within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including data imports, cleansing, and segmentation; integrate with other systems via APIs and SFTP; create and manage customer segments and data extensions. - A/B testing and optimization:
Conduct A/B tests, measure effectiveness, and continually optimize content, subject lines, and send times using Einstein and other tools; analyze performance data and provide recommendations. - Reporting and analytics:
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs; provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis. - Compliance and best practices:
Ensure compliance with digital communication regulations (CAN‑SPAM, TCPA); stay updated on industry best practices and implement them. - Documentation and training:
Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification is a must (Certified Marketing Cloud Developer preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Exact Target, including implementation, administration, data architecture, and automation.
- Strong understanding of digital communication best practices, A/B testing, and marketing automation strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data manipulation for segmentation and reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of AMPscript, SSJS, and API integrations.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide technical guidance to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Salary range: $110,000–$130,000 per year
. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, role scope, and internal equity.
