Our Platform Software Engineers are based in Boston, MA;
Charlottesville, VA;
Columbus, OH; or Durham, NC. You’ll work in a hybrid capacity, maintaining an in‑office presence 3 days a week (Tue/Wed/Thu) to foster collaboration and innovation.

TELUS Digital is hiring empathetic, curious engineers to build robust mobile and web applications. The role focuses on test engineering across various projects, requiring flexibility and a willingness to learn new technologies.

• Confidently deliver high‑quality test strategies and implementation, applying critical thinking to products, requirements, and processes.
• Define test strategies according to each client and business needs.
• Write test plans detailing test structure and communication.
• Work closely with clients to communicate the testing approach.
• Apply various testing methodologies and collaborate on implementation.
• Mentor and coach project teams toward shared goals and outcomes.
• Identify obstacles to ensure quality, improve user experience, and refine test processes.
• Maintain self‑awareness, remain curious, and be receptive to constructive feedback.
• Guide the team through changing priorities with positive energy.
• Communicate and simplify complex problems to encourage multidisciplinary understanding.
• Apply findings to influence organizational practices.

• Experience with testing methodologies and implementation.
• Clear communication of testing approach and decisions to clients and teammates.
• Professional programming experience.
• Experience architecting automated testing suites across platforms.
• Hands‑on with frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Test Cafe, Selenium, and native mobile test frameworks for iOS, Android, or React Native.
• Advocate for SDLC processes.
• Growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience testing for accessibility with screen readers and inclusive UI implementations.
• Experience writing and executing tests for SEO or analytics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, Circle
  
  CI, Fastlane) and deploying pipelines.
• Some experience with load, performance, penetration, or security testing.
• Thought‑leadership engagement (blog, Git Hub, Stack Overflow).
• Familiarity with a CMS such as AEM, Contentful, Epi Server, Sitecore, or Sitefinity.

• Work with world‑class brands like FOX, HBO, Pepsi Co, and Domino’s.
• Apply cutting‑edge tech in cloud computing, AI, ML, Dev Ops, microservices, and data engineering.
• Collaborate with international teams on complex problems using Agile, CI/CD, and Dev Ops‑first mindsets.
