The Analytics department focuses on leveraging data to optimize marketplace functions. This role works directly with the Chief Economist to design algorithms, mechanisms, and models for matching, pricing, and insurance estimation.

As a Marketplace Scientist at General Medicine, you will design and evaluate matching algorithms that connect patients to clinicians for excellent outcomes and short time‑to‑care. You will build and test models that estimate prices using noisy, incomplete, or strategically selected data. Additionally, you will construct demand and supply forecasts to support routing, capacity planning, and network design.
