Business Analyst, Change Management
The Business Analyst will focus on supporting implementations specific to payment programs, including projects that will transform payments off of existing applications to a new payment hub. This role is focused on software changes, release management, changes to middleware application and mainframe interfaces as they relate to payments. Conduct structured change efforts for software & IT changes and manage the development of deliverables and changes into test and production environments.
Job Duties- Coordinate and work with different stakeholders for requirements, testing, and release calendar of necessary components and ensure a synchronous running of day-to-day processes and coordinate and execute the change management documentation and process for the payment’s IT team.
- Attend project meetings to gather all the information about forecasted changes focused on software changes, release management, changes to middleware application and mainframe interfaces as they relate to payments.
- Assemble different interrelated components and streamline the release and change management process to deliver complex, solution-based release.
- Guide the Change Management process to avoid back and forth in change submissions and coordinate escalations with the technical execution team to expedite time response.
- Review with other CIOs the schedule for changes to PRO to avoid collisions and prioritize.
- Lead change management activities within a structured process framework in addition to evaluating the change impact and organizational readiness to limit potential risk.
- Manage the change portfolio, which allows the organization to prepare for and successfully adopt the change and authorize minor change requests and coordinate with the Change Advisory Board for changes presenting higher risk.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the decisions and performance related to the change request communicating with the technical and other cross-functional business units within impacted areas.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3+ years’ experience managing the development of deliverables and changes into test and production environments.
- Previous experience with technical change management workflows / processing.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops, Continuous Delivery Applications.
- Awareness of end to end payments workflow, including accounting, GL, debits, credits.
- ITIL 4, Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner Certifications are highly desired
